{My Easter Table And Some Ideas You Can Use}

I love to decorate my table for all the different holidays. I recently went to a fund raising event called Tablescapes, where they decorated tables in many different themes. It was right up my alley! I took pictures of some of my favorites that I want to share with you, but first...here is my Easter table.

Now here are the different tables from Tablescapes...

Love the jelly beans...

I have had these same green glasses for 25 years and
I've never used them. I loved them on her table and
came home and put them on my Easter table.

Love the little dish with sand and a candle
at each place setting.

Love the garden lanterns in all sizes filled with
candles and plants.

Love the vase filled with little bird eggs.

Love the basket filled with grapes, bread, and wine.

Love the stack of different colored plates.

Love the square plates and the tomato
salt and pepper shakers.

pretty colors

Love the notecard used as a placecard.

This was the cutest idea for a couples tool & garden shower. They had a big tree branch coming out of a burlap sack with tools all around the bottom. The had cloth napkins in paint cans filled with crackers and other foods. So cute! The tree branches can be used as a money tree.

I hope you got some ideas you can use for your table!

{Here's A Great Dinner Idea...}

This is one of my family's favorite meals...

Pork Tenderloin and Mushroom Rice

1 Hormel Pork Tenderloin
1 cup Mahatma White Rice
2 cans Campbell's Beef Consomme'
1 stick butter
1 jar button mushrooms
1 small onion, minced
1 Tb. parsley

I have tried other brands of pork tenderloin,
but Hormel is always the most tender.
You can buy different flavors.
We like the Teriyaki and Lemon Garlic.

~ Spray your pan with Pam and sprinkle the tenderloin
with lemon juice, garlic salt, and parsley.
~ Cover with foil and cook at 375 degrees
for 1 hour 45 minutes.

~ Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet.
~ Add the onions and cook until translucent.

~ Pour the beef consomme' into a large bowl.
~ Add uncooked rice.

~ Cut the button mushrooms in half and
add to consomme'.
~ Add the butter and onions.
~ Add 1 Tb. of parsley.
~ Salt to taste.

~ Pour into a baking dish that has been
sprayed with Pam.
~ Cover with foil and cook at 400 degrees for 1 hour.

~ Slice pork tenderloin.

~ This rice always turns out perfect. It is soooo good!

~ Serve with a green vegetable and garlic bread.

*If you are serving 6 or more, you will want to
cook 2 tenderloins.

{Can't Stop Making Minis!}

Every time I see a magazine with a picture of a cake or any type of food I think, "I could make a mini of that!"

I really like Paula Deen's magazine. My dad has actually been on her show twice. Does anyone remember the shows when "Skeeter" was her guest? That's my dad!

Here is my latest creation modeled after a cake in her magazine.

It's a Raspberry Limeade cake.

I think it's pretty close.

I modeled this cake after a picture I found
in a cake decorating book.
I sure wish I could have a slice!
Lemon is my favorite!

A bundt cake topped with sugar.
I got a new napkin holder. Isn't it the cutest?!
